· Doc Bennett, the six-shooting, hard-drinking, town doctor and two-time mayor of Meeteetse
· Butch Cassidy, who served his only known jail sentence in Meeteetse
· Bronco Nell, a bold frontier woman who ran freight and rustled cattle

· A memorial to Amelia Earhart, who was building a cabin in the Absarokas when she disappeared
