You're invited to spot some native birds in this tour of Tracy Aviary, a botanical garden located in Salt Lake City's Liberty Park. Tracy Aviary provides up-close experiences with birds and nature 363 days a year. In addition to the birds featured in the Aviary’s exhibits, the grounds provide rich habitat for native Utah species. As the largest and oldest of only two free-standing aviaries in the nation and accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums, Tracy Aviary has grown and evolved over more than an 80-year history to become a cultural landmark, public garden, and leader in environmental education and conservation.
Tour SponsorTracy Aviary’s mission is to inspire curiosity and caring for birds and nature through education and conservation.
Tracy Aviary also works to better understand avian species and ecosystems through our conservation initiatives. Citizen science volunteers provide valuable insights which help influence decisions that impact open space design and species survival, preserving Utah’s natural beauty and the diversity of the Rocky Mountains for future generations.Find More Tours Near YouIf you are interested in more audio tours in the region, check out Great Salt Lake Shorelands just north of downtown Salt Lake City.
