The Columbia Land Conservancy (CLC) welcomes you to Nature Quest at High Falls Conservation Area located in Philmont, NY. The theme of this Nature Quest tour is woodland streams.
High Falls Conservation Area is located in beautiful Columbia County, which is nestled between the Catskills and Berkshires along the Hudson River north of New York City.
This site includes one mile of trails that wind through hemlock forests along the Agawamuck Creek, or the “Creek of Many Fish” to the Mohicans. High Falls is home to the tallest waterfall in Columbia County!
During this quest, you'll head east from the parking area along the Waterfall Way. Take your time and have fun! This audio tour is designed to be enjoyed at your own pace.
