Now part of the work yards for the Churchill County Telephone Company, Andrew Dellard Drumm, Jr. began his Silver State Construction Company here in 1922 as a subcontractor. He built the concrete garage and warehouse in 1930. For over 45 years his business provided employment for many Fallon residents. In 1970, A.D. Drumm, Jr. died and the company was auctioned off.
